You Take the Glory
You take the glory, resurrected Lord!
You have gained the victory over Satan’s horde!
On the cross you conquered, though to death you fell,
Now in triumph risen, we your praises tell:
You take the honour, first to rise again,
Your church lasts forever, God’s great plan for men!
See Jesus coming, recognise your Lord,
His work lasts forever, do not fear the sword.
Though your body weaken, Christ has won the fight,
Trust in him, not doubting; faith will soon be sight!
Cast fear away now, Christ will never die,
God’s curse soon be lifted, then we’ll live on high.
Jesus is our peace now, Prophet Priest and King,
Brought before his Father, we his praises sing:
